    Job Description:

    Our client is a leading apparel group in the world. Currently, they are looking for a high caliber to lead the product development team in Bangladesh.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage the development team to drive the development strategy in terms of timing, costing, product specification and product integrity of the apparel product
    • Ensure that product is finalized according to market needs and in accordance with the company guidelines
    • Drive the costing negotiation process by ensuring suppliers can meet PLM/Design
    • Understand product requirements and allocate products / resources to appropriate suppliers
    • Build up and develop the team (target setting, performance assessment, training, and development), as well as to foster productive cross-category cooperation within the department
    • Monitor and balance the team workload as to achieve organizational efficiency by make use of IT-systems, data analysis and team feedback

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor degree holder with minimum 10 years of working experience in apparel product development
    • Track exposures in sourcing office apparel product development team
    • Good negotiation and communication skills
    • Strong leadership and people management skill
